Cheese Bra: a journey into the world of cheese
Every two years Bra turns into the international capital of cheese with Cheese, the major event organized by Slow Food and the City of Bra. An occasion dedicated to raw-milk cheeses, biodiversity, and the people who preserve ancient knowledge and traditions. The latest edition took place from 19 to 22 September 2025, while the next is scheduled for 17 to 20 September 2027.
Not just cheese
Cheese is much more than a big market. Walking through the streets of Bra you meet producers, shepherds, cheesemakers and affineurs from Italy and abroad, along with artisanal products, food specialties and many stories tied to the area.
Tastings and meetings
During the event you can take part in tastings, Taste Workshops, conferences and activities also for families. A chance to get to know cheeses better, discover new pairings and understand everything behind a wheel of cheese: pastures, animals, biodiversity and work.
Bra and the area
